The Round is a digital character sheet and DM panel for in-person D&D 5e. One file, open in a browser. No account required, no internet after the first load, no subscription. When you come back next session, your character is exactly where you left it.

Who it's for

You are running a table in person. Your players are in the room with you. Some of them came in through Baldur's Gate 3 or Critical Role, and paper still feels like homework. The math breaks the moment every time they are finally starting to feel it.

The Round is built for that table.

What it does

Tracks everything the game asks you to track. Ability scores, saving throws, spell slots, conditions, HP for every player at the table, initiative, enemy stat blocks, and session notes that carry forward. Auto-calculates AC, attack bonus, spell save DC, and weapon damage, including mastery properties like Vex and Graze. Spell compendium with 327 spells, feat browser, proficiency pickers, inventory, and currency. Dark mode and parchment themes. Mobile-first. Works on any device at the table.

What it requires

The Round is a session tool, not a rulebook. You will need the Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide to use it. Those books contain the rules, the class features, the spells, and the monsters that make D&D what it is. The Round contains none of that. It is designed explicitly as a companion to the official books. It starts where character creation ends.

The table license

One purchase. One table. The DM receives six player files with the DM panel built into each one, then distributes them to their players. That is it. No recurring charges. No feature gates. The product you download is the product you get.

On how this was built

The ideation, creative direction, design, and art direction behind The Round were mine. Every decision about what this tool should do, who it is for, and what it should feel like came from me. The code was written with AI assistance. I am not a developer, and I am not pretending otherwise. That is how this gets built in 2026.
